My country is Sri Lanka. It is an island in the Indian Ocean. It is a

small island.

      There are many communities in Sri Lanka. There are the Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims and the Burghers. The population of Sri Lanka is about 18 million. The capital of Sri Lanka is Sri Jayawardhanapura 

Kotte. It is a very beautiful country. It is called the pearl of the Indian 

ocean.  

  

  Colombo is it's business center. Tea rubber and coconut are the main crops of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is an agricultural country. It has beautiful natural beaches and attractive places. A lot of foreign tourists visit Sri Lanka every year.
