Technology is one of the most powerful tools in the modern world. It has changed the way people live. work, study, and communicate. Today, we cannot imagine life without technology.      Technology has also very useful in the field of medicine, transport  and business. We should  use technology in redieceuse of of mobile  phones and video games affect health. Pollution in aue to machines  and people are becoming lazy and less social.

  Water is the most precious gift of nature. It is essential for all living beings on Earth. Without water, lite is not possible. Humans, animals and plants all need water to survive.      Water is used for drinking, cooking, bathing, washing, and farming. Farmers depend on water keeps  us healthy and free from diseases.      Water is life. We should use wisely and protect it from pollution. If we save water today. It will save us tomorrow.        Water is life. We should use it wisely and protect it from pollution.

  The internet is one of the greateset inventions of modern science. It  has changed the way people live, study, work and communicate.      The internet help us to get information about anything within seconds. Students use it for online classes, study materials and projects. People use social media, emails, and video calls.        The internet is also has disadvantages. If used wisely to waste  time on social media and become addicted. Hackers can misuse data, and can inhurmhsites. Toomuch use of the internet also harms health.        The internet is a powerful tool. If used wisely, it is a blessing for mankind. 

  English is one the most widely spoken languages in the world, connecting people from different countries and culture. Its importance goes beyond just being a language; it is abridge for communication, education, and career opportunities.    Frist English help us communicate with people globally. Whether  it's through travel, business, or online platforms, knowing English  makes it easier to connect with others. For example ,If someone  from Sri Lanka wants to talk to a friend in Japan, English becomes the common language.    

 Nature is a beautiful gift from God. Nature gives us fresh air to  breathe and clean water to drink.     Trees gives us fruits, shade and oxygen. Birds sing sweet songs and  flowers make the world colourful. Rivers flow with fresh water and  help us grow food.      Nature is very important   for our life. It keeps us healthy and happy We should take care of nature. We must not cut trees or throw waste  in rivers.        Let us plant more trees and keep our earth green and clean. If we love nature, nature will love us back.

My school name is R/Gamini Central College. It is one of the best  school in my city The building of my school is very big and grand. The gate of the school is very high and broad. It is V shaped. There  are forty class rooms, a hall, a large library, three laboratories and two staff rooms. We are like a family in our school. The teachers are very kind and co-operative  our principal is also a kind and competent man.  our school has a big play ground. There is a good arrangement of games and sports in my school.        I love my school.

  Sigiriya is a large rock in central Sri Lanka. It rises about 200 meters above the surrounding plains. In the 5th century AD, King Kashyapa  built a place on its summit. The site includes antient gardens, ponds  and frescoes. Today, Sigiriya is a UNESCO world Heritage sites and a popular tourist destination.

  My country is Sri Lanka. It is an island in the Indian Ocean. It is a small island.       There are many communities in Sri Lanka. There are the Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims and the Burghers. The population of Sri Lanka is about 18 million. The capital of Sri Lanka is Sri Jayawardhanapura  Kotte. It is a very beautiful country. It is called the pearl of the Indian  ocean.        Colombo is it's business center. Tea rubber and coconut are the main crops of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is an agricultural country. It has beautiful natural beaches and attractive places. A lot of foreign tourists visit Sri Lanka every year.     

 My favourite book is Madoldoova. It was written by Mr. Martin  Wikramasinghe, our greatest writer.      This is a children's story. The main character of this book is Upali Giniwella. His best freind is Jinna. Their freinds are Dangadasa and Siripala.Upali is a leader of the boy gang. They do mischievous things  and often get into trouble. But last becomes a kind, hardworking young man who helps people.         This story is written in simple language. It is an enjoyable story about children like us.  Therefore anyone can read and enjoy it well.

  Trees are very useful. We cannot live without trees. We get food,  medicine, timber, and shelter from trees. We get rain because of the trees. Trees beautify our environment. Trees stop the soil erosion too.            We should grow more and more trees. Sometimes we need to  cut down trees. Then we must grow another trees in its place. Birds  build their nests on trees.                           Let us protect the trees. 

 Last Sunday I attended a party. It was Saman' s birthday party. The  party began at 2.00 p.m. and it went  on till 7.00 p.m. Most of our classmates had attended this party. Saman and his parents  welcomed me warmly.         They served us with cake, biscuits and other sweetmeats and ice coffee. Two friends  had  brought musical instruments. So we had fine music and  singing. We wished Saman a happy birthday. We gave him presents  too.           We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly on this day. At about 6.00 p.m. We left the place wishing him once again many happy returns of  the   day.

 Last week we went to the Dehiwala zoo🐊. I went with my father,  mother and my brother. We reached Dehiwala at about 10.00 a.m. After  buying tickets we entered the zoo.          Frist we  went to the aquarium. There we saw a large number  of beautiful fish🐟. They were in large glass cages.            After that we walked along the lanes inside the zoo. We saw, elephants🐘, tigers🐯, lions🦁, monkeys🐒 and various other animals. We also saw birds.🦜🐦          At about 2.00 p.m. we started our return journey. We will never  forget this enjoyable trip.💗 

 There is a library in our village. There are nearly five hundred  members in it. The librarian is a very kind lady.       There are two sections  in the library. They are the reference  sections and the lending section. We can borrow books only from the lending section. We can read newspapers and magazines in our library. We can improve our knowledge by reading. Library is a very useful place.

  Coconut grows well in Sri Lanka. It is a very useful tree. The coconut  tree gives us the coconuts. We can use the coconut milk for cooking. it is also used for making coconut toffees and chocolate rolls. They  are very tasty.           We can use  the coconut husk for many purposes. We can burn  it as a fuel. We can  take the coconut fibre and make rope, coir mats  and coir rags. The palm leaves are used for roofing the houses and  fencing. The coconut shell is also very useful. The milk of young  coconut is a refreshing drink. Every part of the coconut tree is useful.
