  Every Sunday  there is a a fair in our village. It is a very big fair and lot of people visit it. Some people buy their needs and some people sell their things. There are vegetables, fruits, coconuts, yams and green leaves in one place. Pots and pans, toys and clothes in another place. Here are dried fish sellers too.              There are ice cream sellers and gram sellers in the fair. It is a very busy place.                                     I go to the fair with my mother.💕 

  Our teachers are very kind to us.💖 We should respect them. They teach us well and also guide  us in the correct path. They teach us well and also guide us in the correct path. 💗       A teacher can make a child a good person. Also a teacher can make child a bad person.  But always our teachers try to make us better persons.        When we do something wrong, they punish us. They do such things to make us good  children. Teachers are foundational mentors and "second parents" who dedicate themselves to nurturing  student growth, often characterized by patience, expertise, and a commitment  to fostering both academic  success and moral values.

  My hobby is reading books and news papers. It is a very useful hobby. I can improve my knowledge   by reading.📖️ I like to read story books, biographies and short stories📓. We can learn good qualities of great persons by reading their biographies.  I can learn about the day to day happenings  around the world by reading news papers.    I can spend my leisure in a useful manner because  of my hobby. I  love  so much books.❤ 

There are several persons who help us. Among them the postman in an important person. He is a hard working man. He has to work six days a week. He has to wok even in festival season such as Christmas , Vesak and New year.   He brings us letters and parcels. He wears a khaki uniform. He rides on his bicycle a long way every day. He delivers✉️ letters. Also he collects letters from the post boxes. He rings the bell at our gates and gives us letters. Everybody knows him well.              We should appreciate his service.

  There are several sanctuaries in Sri Lanka. Some of them are Yala, Wilpattu, Kumana,  WAsgamuwa and Bundala. Yala is famous for deer and Wilpattu is famous for wild elephants. Kumana is famous for birds. We can see migrant birds too there. We can see animals roaming here and there in their natural habitat in these sanctuaries. Unlike  in a Zoo they move freely. These sanctuaries have become very popular places among both local and foreign tourists.     

  Collecting stamps is a very interesting and useful hobby.    I started collecting stamps about a year ago. Now I have about two hundred stamps. I have  both local and foreign  stamps. My farther helps me in my hobby. He brings me stamps.  When I get  more than one stamp with the same picture I exchange them for new ones  with my sister.  I have  two stamp albums. I have pasted all the stamps in my albums. I have  pasted all the stamps in my albums. There are stamps in different sizes and shapes. We can learn many  things about the culture of other countries through the stamps.

 During the vacation We went on a picnic to Nuwaraeliya. We went by a private coach. There were about thirty for this trip. It was a one day trip. We left Kurunegala at about 6 O' clock in the morning. On our way to Nuwaraeliya, We visited the milk factory at Ambewela. We had our breakfast there. We could reach Nuwaraeliya at about 1.00 p.m. We rested for some time and had our lunch. We visited the Horton plains, the World's end and the Baker's falls. On our way, we saw  several other waterfalls too. We started our return journey at about 5.00 p.m. We could  reach Kurunegala at about 10.00 p.m. We will never forget this enjoyable trip.
